I am planning moving my baby Red foot into a 40 gallon glass where it can have plenty of room. I have a 100w CHE that is on all the time for it and it keeps the side where the hide is at about 88 degrees, the other side is about 78degrees and humidity is 80%. I also use an aquarium light so the baby's eyes will not be hurt by the bright light. For substrate I use 50 cypress/50 moss.

The Question is: Can I use cypress all over the tank for it or should I use 50 cypress/50 moss like I have been doing?

Here are pics of the current setup:

The humidity stays between 70-80%. I spray the enclosure every 3-4 hours during the day. At night it stays around 70%
