Pumpkins?

Now that fall is arriving and pumpkins are becoming more plentiful. Can torts eat them? I have a red-foot.

Yep. I grate them for small ones and bigger ones can just have chunks.

Along with the grating, chunking, and leaving whole for some I also cook them so they are softer/mushier for the smaller guys. Just remember too much pumpkin can cause loose stools. You can also freeze pumpkin for feeding later in the year.

I bought my first pumpkin today, last year I waited to long and couldn't find any to use over winter, so I'm starting early this year.
