Pumpkin for Sulcata?

With it being the fall we have a few pumpkins now as decorations in front of our home. Would there be any problem with feeding some of the pumpkin to my sulcata or is it a special kind of pumpkin that they eat? I figure it would be a better way to get rid of the pumpkin instead of just throwing them away.

I wash it off well, and then throw whole pumpkins in with the big adults. For smaller tortoises I use a cheese grater and grate the pumpkin up and mix it in with greens.
