Pumpkin

How much Pumpkin should we give our Tortoises? I have heard from some of the chats that people freeze their pumpkin, and feed it as treats.

I cut up our Jack-o-lanterns and have them in the freezer. How much is too much and should it be fed sparingly?

What ever they can eat at a sitting would be just fine.

Hi...How long, in inches, are your 3 kids?
I give my torts 3 to 6 small (thumb nail size) chunks of pumpkin every 2 weeks. The amount depends on how big they are. This week my 20 lb Sulcata wanted more so gave her 3 or 4 more and her poop was kind of soft, so will go back to the usual next time. It is very high in fiber.
