protein question

When a diet says 5 % protein is this from plants? I will be feeding a baby Hermanni . I have looked at tons of threads. How do you know the protein content of different plants?

Plants in the legume family, such as clovers and alfalfa are fairly high in protein (for green plants). Studies of wild Hermann's show they eat about 20% legumes.

lol i don't know.... i just feed them the leaves of the been plants in my garden.

they are purple and pink colored beans we got them in Italy. i don't know what type. i don't think the person who won has been said yet.
