They're really great. It's too bad more of the Emydura species are not offered more for sale here in the States. Emydura subglubosa are definately amazing, and they stay pretty manageable as well. I recommend them to anyone who is interested in them.

They tend to be shy, so they do best when not placed with more aggressive species. The group I work with hated it when we tried combining setups. They're alone again now.

My Emyduras was shy at the beginning but now when i come near the aquarium she comes at the surface to see what's happened and also if there is something to eat.
She is the only turtle in the aqua and the are no problem with the fish, she doesn't try to eat them.
All is good actually i wish it will continu like this.
It's really an amazing specie

Eventually, they'll catch fish, haha. I think you'll find if you keep it by itself, or only with other E-subs, that this level of "engagement" will continue. However, if mixed with more aggressive species, you'll find them resorting back to shy behavior.

I have no project to put other species with her, i will only put maybe a second Emyduras Subglobosa with her.
I really like the comportement she has with me when i'm near the aquarium and i'm sure in a few weeks i can give food to her with hands.
And for the fish, i wish it will continu like this and no eating one of them.
