Poop stuck on my sulcata

My 4 month old sulcata has something sticking out of it's backside.. I think it's poop bc some of it came off but there's still some. I'm scared to pull it because I don't want to hurt him. He's very awake and keeps moving around which is why I think he's uncomfortable. Please help. This is the picture of the piece that already came off(looks like there's grass in there)

You can gently pull it out, they sometimes don't digest the food and it can get a little stuck. Just pull; gently, and it should come out.

If you pull gently, you won't hurt him. It is never a good idea to allow poop to build up around the cloaca. It will eventually plug the opening and cause harm.

I would combine the above answers. Long warm soak, followed by a gentle pull.
