If it's a fruit eating species like Redfoots yes, but no for most tortoises.

Mohave Desert ...also we are in Arizona, Mr.Zip has his own house and a Thermo switch installed if the temp drops below 45 degrees.........my question was answered so we will not be giving him any pomegranates. We have had Mr. Zip since 1995......and he has the run of the, excuse me, he owns the back yard........
