Plumbago

Hello, Is plumbago safe or toxic? ASPCA lists it as OK but other sites say no.
It grows really well in FL where I live.

Yvonne found some info online. -

The sap (leaves, stems) may cause dermatitis, the roots have a chemical that is toxic (emetic: nausea, vomiting).
