Thanks for the concern , beside bit more heavy rain than usual ( bring them in to sleep on dry ground and put out extra heat for the night ) all are well !!
Do affect their daily grazing a bit since ground more muddy than usual .

Thanks , I have got a few and this is from my first hatch for this specie for the new season . BUT this sp not for sale for now !!

What is the size of a full grown ango would be? It looks huge. I read from the bet, it says male adult around 40 plus cm, but when I looks at the photo u post out, it seems 40 over inches.

Sam, do you still keep the first bred of ploughshares from 2007? If you do, please share the pictures and size. I'd love to see how fast they grow in tropical country like ours.

Most are still with me , a pair with a friend in another city in Sabah .
Another pair in another state within Malaysia .
Range in size from 10" to 14" ( hatch from early 2008 to end 2008 )
Pictures later !!

My biggest male excluding the gular is close to 50 cm
A few Indonesian , Thai friends says their's close to 60 cm , but I have only seen 2 or 3 longer or larger than my biggest male at about 55 or 56 cm .
But within their homeland ( if records did not change) is a male measuring 48 or so cm )

That's pretty fast growth, 30+ cm in like 6 years.
I remember you saying your F1 started to mate already. Have they produced result or it's not clear since mix mating with the mature ones?

Haha not the right time to reveal anything yet !! But how hard is it to overcome that "unclear "part ?
Unless one only has 1 breeding pair and few young adult to work with !!
I stage a few scenario - young to young pairing , old male ( not the dad of course ) with virgin female
but omit the young male with old female ( as female store sperm from months ago )
