It's not legal to own, just can't import any. And there are no captive breedings in the U.S. at the moment anyway.

Btw FANTASTIC on hatching some!!

TSA brought in some adults I think sometime around a year ago and they were placed at a couple zoos here in the US. I'm sure they will have babies sometime soon.

Thanks for all the nice word . I am just trying my best to breed something I like and rare in this case ( found them in the marketplace - if I did not get them someone will )
So why not me ( if in the hands of some others they may end as a lone pet or display only - how sad )

So far non-sold ( so don't brand me as a money hungry kind of crap ..... Etc ) as need to study more on their diet vs growth ....... Etc

Cheers

They are indeed !! Never have to worry about food or being BURNT or poached for food or ....... never again !!

Seen too many burnt victim before - Bornean natives use slash and burn in their new settlement for cultivating new crops ( some fire ran out of control and cause forest fire )

Cheers

One day I hope to have the privelage to breed this magnificent species.

Laws are changing every now and then - not all confiscated specimen from this sp are returned to their island home but rather send elsewhere for ex-situ projects in the last few years !!

So may not be long before some will be released to private hand - who knows !!

Cheers

They really like the banana a lot but I only give as snack - one or twice a month !! or use to distract the female while the male do his job later on when they ready for mating .

Cheers

In local thread, the keepers of ynips describe them as shy and gentle. I don't know they have aggressive behavior too :D
