Any weeds/plants recommended for spur thighed tortoises?! I don't feel I'm getting a wide enough variety in!

He's 4. At the moment I'm feeding him dandelion leaves, brambles, clover, honey suckle and carrot occasionally with calcium sprinkled on each day.


Yes he's Greek

How about adding some of other weeds like plantain and mallow? Growing some greens like collards, endive, escarole and turnips (along with all the other possibilities)? Mulberry leaves? Grape leaves? Even some cactus? Hibiscus leaves and even the bloom. So many other flower type plant possibilities too.

Spur Thighed is the other common name for Greeks as you call them. Check out the tortoise table site for safe weeds. Where are you?
