Can anyone identify these plants? I took a walk in my yard and found these plants and was wondering if they are safe for my torts.

I think number 4 and 8 are the same. Any information helps. Thanks!

I think 3 is wireweed - Polygonum aviculare, not edible.

7 might be a very young Virginia Creeper, not really sure. My desert tortoises eat it, but the other tortoises don't.

I had my suspicions that number 7 and 4 was sowthistle. And I was right! Thanks guys. I have alot of those plants so I will give my torts some tomorrow. I'm so excited :D.

The other plants aside from the ones identified don't seem safe for the torts. Am I right? In the meantime I will feed my torts the sowthistle.

It's OK! That's good that you point that out, that way I can identify the two. Thanks!

i have number 3 in my front garden, i honestly can not remmber the name of it -sorry!- but at the time i remember that it was not on my "edible plant list" for sulcatas, so i just forgot about it bc i had plenty of tort food growing. sorry, that was of almost no help at all. just bc it's not on one edible list doesn't mean its poisonous...
