So I used an app called FlowerChecker where you upload pictures and someone identifies your plant for around a dollar, per request.
In case anyone sees either of these, the first one was identified as a lesser swinecress and the second, nettle leaved goosefoot. I checked online with various pictures and in my (albeit uneducated) opinion, they seem like accurate identifications. Both are apparently not fit for sulcata consumption, so I will be pulling them today.
