Hello everyone,
Down here in Texas we got LOTS of snow and many lost power and water. Fortunately I got lucky and had all of these privileges along with the beautiful snow. Anyways, during this period the stores were raided the same way that they were when Covid started and along with a few other scavenged items I got a pineapple. I thought: Why not plant my own pineapple plant? It's much warmer now and we have a pineapple top, so I have decided to plant the top in the back. There's a perfect spot although it is the site for the future tortoise enclosure. I've heard pineapple leaves aren't toxic for tortoises but too much can be bad. What are your thoughts?
Maybe I'll plant a Kiwi tree too as a special treat for my tort and in memory of Kiwi. Will this work out too?
