Great pic. Too cute of a butt shot. This time I can see it. Not sure if your Bob pics are disappearing or if some just can't see them

I think Pansy is a boy! Look at that tail for a 1.5 month old. Just adorable!!! That's such a great shot;one for next year's calendar?

It's interesting that you've had such bad luck, I wonder what happens.

Don't say that, she'll grow into her tail....gosh!

No, not after my last experience.

It's interesting that you've had such bad luck, I wonder what happens.

I have "bad luck" because I operate a small rescue for special needs tortoises and turtles, so they are already damaged when I get them. Except for Bob and the big problem there was we couldn't find an "exotic Vet" who can operate. The stone was too big, he was left bleeding, his kidney was damaged as was his liver. Obviously the one we found couldn't operate either. Also evidently Bob was sicker than we realized.
So yes I do have bad luck, but they are usually already dying by the time I get them. I always think I can save them, and I am always upset when they die. I have blind box turtles, 3 legged box turtles, a Hermanni with back trouble so walking is hard for her. A desert type tort with abscessed sinus' as a symptom of mycoplasma, so he has to live alone and I have to be careful about cross contamination.I have a T. ornata who passes on a paralyzing disease, which kills the other box turtles. Needless to say, she lives alone. So it does look like I kill a lot of chelonia. But like I said, they are almost dead when I get them. I save more than I lose.
If you mean Bob, I have no defense...

I'm sorry, I should have worded that differently! I meant bad luck posting pictures. Sorry, that was my bad completely. That's great you take in the special needs animals. That's a job that would be tough for me to do, but they deserve a good home that you'd give! Sorry again maggie

I like to take and post pictures here. It's one of my favorite things to do. So to have so much trouble is really frustrating. I have 5 ways to post them, and none works the same twice in a row. I know most members aren't interested in my pix, but too bad....:)hahaha

This actually is Daisy Mae, I have never seen any Sulcata at any age eat as much as this one. She's 2. I got her on DSCN0898.JPG Feb 5th and she weighed 866 grams, Now today, she's 1 lb 69 grams.

Maggie, I think you're wrong about most are not interested in your pics. I think there's a lot of members who not only look forward to your pics, but greatly admire you and your rescue attempts. Don't down yourself as much as you do. You're a great inspiration to me, and those who know me, know that's not something I say often to anyone, except a select few!
