I recently got a new Russian Female :) YEY
Many have been great in another thread and have not mentioned the growth rings I am referring to here so I do not believe it to be a huge concern.
However, there is a section of growth, what I would guess is the growth she experienced under her last owner that appears pale and almost translucentish.

I am wondering what causes this, or if I need to do anything about it.
Sections above the hind feet bubble out slightly moreso then normal growth rings should I think.
Thanks

A better pic from her bath tonight.

It really doesn't look concerning. I bet with some good sunshine and time it will darken. :)

Like Matt said nothing to worry about as thats very normal. :) All new growth is lighter colored and darkens with age and sun exposure.
