Wanted to share some pictures of our three aquatic turtles.
This is "Squirtle" our 5-6 month old Midland Painted turtle, 2-3":
Squirtle LOVES to bask! I've had him since he was the size of a quarter and he is just super used to us.
This is "Kraken", our 1 1/2 year old False Map turtle, 3-4". We BELIEVE this is a male. He was pretty shy when we first got him, but since moving to the 55 gallon tank in a more populated area, he is getting more comfortable with us.
Last but not least!, this is "The House" an adult (not sure of age) Yellow bellied slider, female. This is our biggest turtle, at 6". We've only had her for about a week.. so we are still learning her personality. So far we've noted that she likes to EAT! She loves romaine (as well as the other turtles), pellets, grapes (only had once.. but they all devoured them!), feeder fish, even gave the butternut squash a chance. Lol
