Does anyone know the Pachira Aquatica is toxic. I can't find any info on it anywhere.
I put one in my redfoot enclosure in hope of growing the 3 braids in different directions to give cover. It's growing extremely fast in a hot humid environment.
My redfoots are devouring ever leaf they can reach.
Do I train it to grow low or keep it out of reach?

Thanks.

When I googled money tree it came up with all sorts. So I started to doubt if it was the edible type.
We've had this one in the house for about a yr, it grew slowly to about 2ft.
Ive put it in our tort house where it's hot and humid and in 3 months it's pushing 5ft. You can see where they could reach to. I fed some to the juveniles today. They left the fruit for these leaves:eek:.
I'm going to train the seperate braided trunks to grow just above tort level in different directions.
