Well...first time for me folks, and what a thrill and lesson. Here's the deal ....after thinking eggs are bad and in the 8-9 month mark of incubation, alongside of running out of room in the cooker. I will often take those eggs and bury them in the Veggie garden. "Remember the thread from this morning? Sunflowers ......
Well no malarkey , I just was out back watering the garden looked down .....and guess what?

OH MY GOODNESS!.......
A warm soak and this CherryHead is off and running..........
This is my first experiencing a "sort of" natural hatching within my different redfoot collections in over 10 years!

See, like I said in the sun flower thread. You and your green thumbs can grow anything. Even a tortoise out of your garden. :D
Congrats, that is pretty darn cool

Well heck. I'm changing up how I deal with eggs now!!! It's drizzling and 65°f here right now and only gonna get cooler overnight but heck, I'm gonna go take my sulcata eggs out of the incubator and bury them. One question though, what's a garden? Is it the cat box area out back that I water?
