Outdoor set up started

Started Ninja and Nertle's outdoor set up. This is just for a couple hours when I can babysit them. Set this next to my garden so it's a win win with the nice weather...I can garden and keep an eye on them at same time, and they can get some fresh air and sun.

Got some seeds specifically for them and going to start growing plants soon. Never thought I would purposely grow weeds. Soon I will have a tortoise garden alongside my regular one. Ordering grassland mix of seed online and thinking of planting directly in their new set up. I was reading every grass seed packet today at Lowes and all had warnings on them about feed. A bit disappointed with that but their health is more important.

Even let them hang out for a bit today in it. My dog wasn't too happy when his pool didn't go to him for the moment...lol. We drilled holes in the bottom to allow for drainage and then added organic soil.

Yes, kiddie pools are a nice cheap way to house little ones inside and out.

I even use kiddie pools as nurseries for my tortoise plants. You might want to put a few holes in the bottom in case it ever rains really hard.

Poor puppy, the tortoises got the pool not him. Enjoy your gardening time with them.
