Our outdoor enclosure is starting to look good. We have Broadleaf and flower mix specifically for tortoises growing already and the grass is starting to spout. We have a Hosta and a Geranium planted. They both stressed a bit after planting but are coming back now. We took Speedy out today for a little while and she (we have no idea on sex yet but are referring to her as a girl per our daughters request! Lol) seemed to like it. She definitely liked the clover that was coming up. We are going to plant some and keep indoors too so that we have fresh greens - weeds, grass, etc. to feed her over the winter.

Looking good. She still looks small so be sure she stays inside a humid closed chamber more then outside or she will pyramid. Only for about 3 years or so then can be outside more then in.

Definitely! She will only be out here for an hour or two a week. I’m almost finished with a larger closed chamber that will hopefully last her a year or two. Just waiting for the painted plywood to gas out or whatever - smells like paint. Thinking maybe in a week it’ll be ok but we’ll have to see.
