I rent my house so I want to build a temporary enclosure outside.
I want to know if I bury 6" of chicken wire around the perimeter will that be secure enough? I am home during the day so I can check them regularly.
Also is there a list of plants that greek tort's can have in the enclosure?
Can I buy them from home depot?

Hi!

I don't own greeks, but from what I've learned on this forum, that depth around the perimeter should be sufficient. Also, I think if you do a search for edible plants on this forum, you will find listings of edible plants for a variety of tortoises since it has been discussed alot. If you buy from Home Depot or any nursery, be sure you also buy organic potting soil or top soil too. You will want to repot the new plants (without the white fertilizer pebbles) into the organic top soil, then 3-5 months for the fertilizer to "bleed" out of the plants before planting them in the enclosure. You'll see this info on other threads here to. Hope that helps a bit to get you going.
