Anyone into ornates? I have someone locally trying to rehome some. I don't know if that is something I want to get into. Let me know about your experience with care, feeding, etc. Thanks!

I have Ornate box turtles :) If you have the space to set them up individually when they are inside and no more than 3 to a pen outside they should do great. Took me to a while to figure this all out with so may getting sick and not doing well.
They are great turtles when they are doing well. They like more live food in their diet the T. carolina. They also like humidity.
If you have any specific questions just ask.

Hmm...I don't know if I can accomodate that. He has 3. 2 females and 1 male and has them together. Don't want to have to house them separate and not leave any room for the torts I really love. Thanks for the info.

Would have been a nice offer. I have a couple of Ornates and love them. Wish to do what you say however if space is limited and just stick with what you really want to have.
