I was at a plant sale today and I purchased 4 western prickly pear cactus plants I just wanted to make sure my Russian tortoises can eat them. Are they safe for them to eat?

yes they are safe,and easy to grow.

Great for them as well I remove the thorns and try to give mine cactus at least once a week.

Yes and they'll love it!

Yes i grow the same, they love it.
Just pick, de-thorn and rinse real good and serve.
Since my Guy isn't that big i chop up pieces then serve, some people feed the whole pad if big enough.
