Is it ground cover or is it a shrub? Does it have a pretty smell or bitter?

Well....I'm currently having atrocious allergy problems (we're all allergic to weeds) *rolls eyes* so I can't smell it per say :D but it's ground cover and quite plentifull in my back yard lol I have a few other pics that need identifying if u want we can skip over this one and move to the next?

Not sure whay it is call but i have lots of it growing in my front yard .
Let the 4 redfoots out to roam & they went right for it .
The only thing i noticed the next day was runny stools .
Other than that they sure seemed to enjoy it .
It appears to be some type of succulent type weed ,
We get it every winter here is South Texas:):tort:
