Same with me, I felt that Torty was not growing but when I checked his weight recently, he weighed in at 90grams, I brought him home a couple of months back when he weighed about 80 grams. I guess they grow really slow especially Star tortoises.

All of my torts have gone through this too. They eat like little piggies and seem to not grow for weeks or months on end. A vet check is always a good idea, but I'm not seeing anything out of the ordinary in the info you posted.

My hatchlings often grow at different rates even though they eat the same amount. After a few years it can be hard to believe they even came from the same clutch. As long as they are gaining weight, slow is good! :)

I've had hatchlings from the same clutch grow at very different rates. I currently have a group of eight Testudo gracea ibera that are from two clutches hatched within 2 days of each other in 2008. The largest of the group is 3" SCL, some are 2" and the rest are everything in between. That is perfectly normal. Too many people are obsessed with how quickly their tortoises grows in a short time. It's more important how well the tortoise grows, not how quickly it grows. By the time they reach adulthood, tortoises of the same species are all the same size.
