I am getting to leopard hatchlings, about 2" each. I have set up an indoor enclosure for now. Please let me know what you think and any advise is appreciated.
The enclosure is a 22 x 38, 6" deep plastic pan with a wire cover so I can bring the outdoors without worry about preditors until they get bigger. I have a hide out, a powersun uvb heat lamp (100w) on a stand. I have digital thermometers on both ends of the enclosure to monitor temps. I plan on using repti sand and bedabeast 70/30 as my substrate and put in a very shallow small container of water, as well as a daily soaking. I also plan on putting in a small container of portulaca and a pan of bermuda grass. I have bought orchard hay and bermuda hay. Can you think of anything else? Is my enclosure large enought for a year?
