Newbie from Ohio.

Hello! I am new to the forums. I am from Columbus, Ohio.

I have a 5 year old sulcata tortoise which I believe to be a male. I have committed this summer to giving 'Sully' the life in captivity he really deserves!

My girlfriend also has a 24 year old female Painted Turtle, Pokey, that we are putting through the same process.

I don't have any pictures on my computer right now, but I will post some in about a month when we get into our new place!

With a Sulcata tortoise in Ohio, you are going to have your work cut out for you building optimal housing for your Sully. How exciting, though! What are some of your plans? Will your new place have a large outdoor area? You know Maggie (maggie3fan) has a Sulcata in Oregon in a heated shed and he manages to be happy there while exasperating her to death most of the time.
