Just bought 3 red footed tortoises and built this enclosure. Need some tips on the enclosure. Thank you!

I would put a railing on the ramp so they won't fall off and get hurt or flipped over. But other then that it looks nice.

They look very healthy and smooth. The cage is lovely but the ramp DOES need so something to stop them falling off. Normally torts know not to go near edges but it is better To be safe than sorry.

Is the room where that sits going to be warm and humid all the time? If not you are going to have a tough time with an open top like that.

I anticipate you having trouble with that OSB rotting and disintegrating. On your next build, when you have to go bigger in a few months from now, I would suggest ply wood instead. It holds up much better to damp conditions.

I can account for this because i have a ramp in my redfoots enclosure and he "falls" off alot, luckily mine only goes about 3-4" up cuz i just needed to give him a safe way to get up and down from his log hide cuz he was persistent on getting up there no matter what i did but then he couldn't down. And i say"fall" because I'm pretty sure he does it on purpose and he can pretty much walk off the top of the ramp onto the ground without the ramp and i would add a railing but if i did then he couldn't get on the ramp. Long story short, i can personally vouge for the fact that a railing on a ramp is a good idea :)
