New Tortoise Owner

Hi everyone. I'm Chris. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area. I recently got my first tortoise. He is approx. 3 inches long. I was told he was a red foot eventhough he has yellow legs. After reading this forum I'm starting to think he is a yellowfoot. I'll be posting some pictures soon to get the expert's advise. By the way, his name is "Scoot". I'm no stranger to reptiles. I currently have the following:

1.0.0 Amazon Tree Boa (Tang)
0.0.1 Blue Tongue Skink (Rex)
1.0.0 Giant Leaf Tail Gecko (Mortimer)
0.1.0 Savannah Monitor (Dioji)
0.0.1 Red (Yellow?) Foot Tortoise (Scoot)
1 Dubia Roach Colony

I'm looking forward to learning as much as I can about Scoot's care and getting to know other tortoise enthusiasts.

You probably DO have a redfoot tortoise. The yellowfoots aren't as common in the pet trade as redfoots are. We can help you with that if you give us a good, clear picture of the tortoise's face.
