new tortoise owner- helpful info always appreciated!

Hello, hello
New to Tortoise Forum AND new reptile owner here. We have JUST gotten a 2 month old leopard tortoise, Tim Tam. Since we're new owners we are open to any helpful information in raising our Tim Tam. We are currently living in the Toronto, Canada area and our tortoise is in a 3ft x 2ft open top tortoise table. Tim Tam is about 2.5 inches long and not too sure about weight.

We've been worried about humidity levels so we're working on somehow modifying the table to a closed top enclosure. Any suggestions?

Also, our tortoise doesn't seem to be eating much. Is that normal? We are currently feeding Tim Tam Zoo Med grassland tortoise food & dandelion.

Another thing is Tim Tam seems to go to the coldest areas of the enclosure and sleeps quite a bit. Is this also normal?

Hello and Welcome. Please read Toms threads below in my post for temps, humidity for raising a smooth healthy Leo. The coldest spot should not be below 80 with humidity no lower then 80 and basking 95+
