Ive been waiting to get this little guy for awhile, apparently males are a little harder to get. This little guy is a male and only about 2 inches long. He has great coloring and should grow up to be an outstanding colorful tortoise. He is so active I could barely keep him in the container he was shipped in. He ate as soon as he saw a red hibiscus flower. He is the smaller of the 2 in the pic

The larger one was not sexed but I have a couple others that are for sure female. Someday Im going to be hatching these guys

Wow bigred! He's a handsome little guy. It's tough to wait so long for them to mature and then sometimes you just don't know whether it's a male or female. Good luck!

Thank you,,,,,,,,,Ya thats exactly why I got my permit so I could buy sexed tortoises so I wouldnt run into that problem.

Thanks for the comments, its been quite an exciting last couple days here. One of my female redfoots laid 7 eggs yesterday and the other femal laid 5 eggs today. Both incubators are full for a total of 39 eggs
And to top it off I got this little guy which has turned out to be an outstanding little healthy guy. He is running all over the place and is not shy at all, he owns his enclosure already. I guess that is to be expected when you buy from QUALITY people that are on this forum

There will be plenty of pics when I get a new camera Ive broken 2 cameras in the last year. Im using the wifes right now and she doesnt trust me with hers

One of the camera drops was in Vegas and I was a little out of my mind so that one doesnt count. My wife said the same thing about the wrist strap
