New to the forum, new to tortoises!

Sadly, I have no tortoise pictures to offer, because I have not gotten mine yet. I have wanted a tortoise for the past 14 years or so, and I'm FINALLY prepping to get one in the very near future! It's been a dream pet of mine for a long time, but I was always scared about feeding and pyramiding. I am no stranger to reptiles, I both own and work (currently) with them, mostly snakes. I stumbled across this forum while researching, and boy has it been an eye-opener! I was going to get an open top set-up for a baby Greek, but reading around here I will now be doing an enclosed area for now. Living in South Florida it will be a bit easier for me with heat a humidity, and I have the opportunity to do an outdoor setup in the future.

I can't wait to learn more from all of you!

Thank you very much! As for at home I have a king snake, a ball python, a red tail boa and a blood python. At work I work mostly with kings, corns, milks and hognoses, but I also get dragged around to work with boas, rat snakes and ball pythons, depending on where help is needed. I'm got leopard geckos at home as well, along with tarantulas and scorpions. I'm very excited for my tortoise baby though, and I can't wait to start building his/her enclosure.

I was about 12 when I first wanted one, but didn't know where I was going to be after school, so I decided to wait. I am just now in a situation where I'm stable, and not moving for a long while!
