It looks pretty big, but if your tortoise is full grown, it may not be big enough.

Nice looking table. 4ft x 2ft? Did you buy it or build it? Look forward to seeing the setup once it dries :D

You mean 4 x2ft.

Nice table that. I built mine. Mine is 3x2ft for my 10month Russian. Don't have anything for outdoor as yet but obviously in the planning for when he is bigger & older. He has space where he is to increase the table size indoors to suit him growing up for now.

I started with one of these tables for my juvenile redfoots. Changed to a viv after a month. I couldn't achieve the correct ambient and humidity that redfoots require. The difference I saw in there activity when I changed to a viv was quite a lot.
I believe tables are ok for Russians though. Seem to be more tolerant to greater heat changes.
My friend is in the progress of building his outdoor enclosure for his Russians. He's using simple breeze blocks, 2 coarses high. Think his is 9x14ft. Will only cost about £50.

The water dish is bigger than it looks and they don't need to bath in there just to drink they get a bath every few days
All tortoises should have a bath big enough so they can self soak. They hydrate by absorbing water through the skin aswell as drinking. I would use a simple terracotta saucer, cost a couple of quid.
