hi guys, so I finished a new setup for my red footed 4x2Wx19"L closed chamber with hole cutout for powersun 160w. The problem is its now reading 103 on one end and 87 on another end... How would I keep the heat down without messing with humidity currently in 70-80 with gauge placed in middle of enclosure. here are pics

Agree, use a lower bulb the the 160.

I don't know what the stuff is lining the rim of the light/heat hole, is it to protect the wood from burning? If not, you can line the rim of the whole to protect the wood.

Yes that is jb weld I saw one forum member that her and her husband turned a 55 gallon into a custom closed chamber and used that because it protects from heat up to 300F... Thanks everyone I will go right now see if petsnart has the 100w can't wait I'm scared my babies with be uncomfy

Just bought the 100w looks promising, also bought another digital thermometer for the other side thanks for the quick input I didn't even think about downgrading lol
