well got things set up and went and picked him up and brought him to his new home..... his name is iggy

Hey Brad! Nice-looking tortoise. Now you just need to work on making a more eye-appealing habitat for it. A few fake or real plants, etc. and smoosh the waterer down into the substrate so its flush with the substrate. To keep the humidity in you may have to cover or partially cover the tank. Yea Iggy!!

well i have changed the water dish to a shorter one... iggy was having problems getting back out of the old one plants coming this weekend... going with fake... have a cover for one side of the tank...


yes he is a petsmart redfoot...

the tank will not be staying long i am going to jump rate into makeing a tort table so he has more room to move around so more pics and experiences to come...

I as well am a new owner of a male & female petco tort .
We have had them since the week b4 christmas and they are already eating out of my hand and not as frightened as they were when we frst got them.
