But they didn’t pooped ? and even give them sunlight
I think now it’s neseccary to Fix a uvb light but don’t know anything about that
I think we don’t fix uvb light in summers

Hi, what species and age tortoise do you have? Where abouts in the world are you?

Is he permanently outdoors/indoors?

Photos of your outside/inside enclosure will help people here to help you.

I can tell you that uvb (sunlight) is very important for his digestion/nutrient uptake and health. As are correct temps/humidity.

There are great 'species specific' care sheets within the forum.
Have a read, post some pictures of enclosures and tortoise and I'm sure someone will be along to get all the help and advice you need soon enough!

Hi and welcome,
If you tell us the species of your tort and which part of the US you are in so we know your climate, we can point you in the right direction to make sure your tort is as happy and healthy as he can be.
Looking forward to seeing the pics of him and his enclosure and the lamps you are using

Hi Mario, and welcome to the Forum!

The replies we give you in trying to help you care for your tortoise are tailored towards where in the world you are, your climate, etc. I know you're NOT in "America", so please go to your profile and put in the correct country so we can give you the help you need.

No, Mario - you've misunderstood. I showed you the picture so that you could make your tortoise's enclosure more comfortable for him to live in. He needs plants to diffuse the lighting, and he need a warm, humid environment.

If your tortoise gets a few hours of real sunshine a week (not through the window, but real sunshine) then you won't need a UVB light, but he needs to be soaked daily for about 15 minutes, and more moisture in his environment. The plants help with that.

Is that sand you have in the enclosure?
Sand is not recommended as a substrate because it can irritate eyes, nose and skin and if ingested it can cause the gut to become impacted which is very painful for the tort and sometimes fatal.

This is a caresheet that may help you put things right
