Hello names Abby I live in Texas. I just got Sulcata yesterday, i think she's a girl from why I can see. I named her Astrid and she is a cutie.


I've never had a sulcata or any tortoise as small as her so I'm nervous. So maybe you all can give me advice? :3

Hi and welcome to the Forum!!

Astrid is VERY pyramided for such a small tortoise. She would benefit greatly from twice-daily warm water soaks and a humid environment. Try to set her up in a closed chamber with a warm misting system feeding it. You'll find instructions on how to care for a baby sulcata in the "Important Threads" section at the top of the Sulcata section.
