New member and his red footed tortoise Victor

Glad to be part of an online forum about Tortoises. I have had Victor, my red footed tortoise since April. It has been nice to get to know him. He is very responsive to me, as I am to him. I feel it is a great resource to compare notes here about our experiences with these wonderful creatures. I want to provide everything that he needs to be happy and healthy. Victor and I live in Denver, CO. The biggest challenge for me so far is providing him with rain forest conditions here in such a dry climate.

Don' have much of a rain forest yet. Have read that is where the Red Footed live. But I do have a photo of Victor
