New member about to purchase a tortoise!

Hi all,
I'm Abbie and I'm very excited to get my Hermann's tortoise as soon as I've got everything ready! Completely new to all this so I will be asking a million questions and any advice would be great!

Welcome Abbie. There's a lot to learn but this is the right place to learn it.
Take the time to read the care sheet for Hermanns, Beginners Mistakes and Enclosures sections
- a lot to take in but it could save you a lot of future grief and money on equipment.

If you are buying from a pet shop don't be talked into buying things that you don't really need or are wrong (like coiled/looped bulbs) Double check here before spending your money!
