I just finished(almost) my indoor enclosure for my sulcata... I still have a lot of work( his "house", plants, more lighting, the roof and other decor are still needed) but im pretty proud.

However I have a question about the substrate... I used a bag of "cypress rose blend" and 2 bricks of coco coir. The blend has a lot of pointy pieces of wood.. Is this normal? Or should I do something else? I don't want my little girl to get hurt... Also I have a baby sulcata who will be using this durring the day( when my other one is outside )... Is this an ok substrate?

I use the coco and just cypress mulch . Never heard of cypress
rose . You need to get you a big water bowl so he can soak in . Like a big terracotta planter base.
