Hi all,

I would like to share the welcome news of a new member star tort(less than 3inch) named him/her armani. This is my third star. I am from india and want to know if i can keep all three together? As my other two are big in size( 4.5 inch).

You should quarantine the new one from your other ones first. At least three months. As for keeping them all together, I will let the star owners answers that.

Stars usually don't fight. After a quarantine period and you are sure the new guy is healthy and well adjusted, they will probably get along just fine.

Should be fine for now but once they reach adulthood it might be a different story.

Even then the aggression I've witnessed with this species doesn't come close to what other species are capable of.

I have but small tort with the big ones. Did not notice any agressive behaviour but female tort was following small one may be because she is feeling care and sleeping with small one on the same corner and male tort is sleeping alone on the other corner.
