I think I did good!

I found some cages on FB about 2 miles from my house. Turns out the guy used to breed bearded dragons.


The ceiling:


I have another like this, and it has the fixture for a tube UVB. These are 4' x 2' x 2'.

Then there is a 3rd that is 2' x 2' x 2'. It also has fixtures for 2 bulbs and a tube UVB.

Not sure what I'm going to do with them yet, but I paid $40. for all 3. Too good to pass up.

I do think I'm a step closer to a blue tongued skink, however! ?

To anyone who suggests a hatchling tort...the loss of my sweet Chug, after all the other sadnesses the past 8 months, has hit me really hard. I don't know if I want another tortoise. In any case, I'm too old (almost 69) to start out with a baby. I would only consider an old tort from an adoption program.

And my friend still wants me to take her sulcata...

Maybe make it for leopard geckos. I breed leopard geckos and they are super fun and easy to care for!

Cool. I know nothing of lizards but the wild ones in my backyard. We have pink geckos and they are adorable. Just looked up Leopard Geckos and they are as well!

My problem with geckos is what they eat. I will not have roaches, crickets, etc. And no mice, either.

I've been told a blue tongue would be perfect for me.
