Tomas, isn't it amazing to see a baby tort grow so much in one year? My two sullies are 26 months old and are 16 and 17 inches already. I think they'll be monsters when they are 25 lol.

I only feed him once a day as well but I give him all he wants! I'm no expert but I think it also has a lot to do with temps and humidity as well.

I only feed her once a day! it's about the size of a dinner plate in a pile about 4 or 5 inches high of all kinds of stuff. Kale, greens, romaine and red lettuce. Spring mix, cactus pads, Aloe vera, grass, banana leafs, Mulberry leafs, timothy hay and Mazuri. Also various weeds when they can be found. On a side note: She gets Mazuri everyday! Some say their torts don't get it everyday cause they won't eat anything else but my Darwin will eat any and all that is put before her. If she doesn't finish it within 15 min, she walks away then will come back about 10 min later and eat the last few bites! That's all I do, plus correct temps, closed chamber, high humidity, sun shine and Calcium powder 2 or 3 times a week.

I've actually started to increase my mazuri for my sulcata and leopards this winter and have noticed their weights are starting to progress quicker than before. Like yours they still eat everything offered eventually.

I can't wait to see if yours weight continues to skyrocket like that. That's the most impressive growth I've ever seen. Sudan sulcata genes perhaps??
