Purchased my first cherryhead, loving this little guy. 4 months old and growing like a weed. Have him in a reptile tent which is extremely economical and easy to maintain. I will grab pics of his enclosure tomorrow if anyone is interested. For tonight here is him and his big brother, Mr.T the aldabra. They will NEVER be housed together and I am very cautious about cross contamination. The first picture of Mr. T was December of 23 and the second is a picture from today. He is on the same plate.

I like the cherry head but you are lucky as heck to be able to have an Aldabra. If I were in a warm climate, I would get one of those in a minute.

This is from reptiletents.com, right? Can you share some feedback on these? Do they leak, is the frame rigid enough for heating/lightning equipment... anything else that comes to mind.
They make excellent enclosures for smaller animals. It comes with a tray that holds all substrate and liquids. The enclosure in the pictures footprint is 4 ft x 16 in x 16 in. If I were to do it again, I would get the four foot x 2 x 2 ft. This would allow more clearance for heat lamps. I am currently running two ches set at 90 degrees. Each end is upper 70s lower 80s. Being that it's a cherryhead I did not want to blast him with light so I have a full spectrum t5ho that is 15 inches I believe mounted on one end. This gives him the option to be shaded if he wishes. The frame seemed questionable until I put the tent over it. With the tent I am confident it will hold any heating equipment you may wish to put in there including rhps. The doors velcro is adequate to ensure that there are no escapes but not difficult to open when needed. I will say on the larger cages they do recommend additional anchors for the doors. Perhaps with this in place I would feel more comfortable housing a larger animal in one.

Do they have larger tents? The minimum for an adult is 4ft X 8ft, also stronger door/flap closures than just velcro (I know my tort would be through that in a minute).

I looked on their website and the largest looks like its 6x2x2. I think the Velcro is a one inch wide strip so maybe not the best for escape artist's.
