Photos showing the tiny flowerpots that Julio used to crawl into and stay wet and his new "stay dry" burrow. Lots of diatomacious earth used. As you can see, he couldn't wait for me to finish it. The last photo shows the whole pen 8'×12'. It's 90% or more done without the entrance way that I'll be doing this week....

I've got to finish the entrance way. It will also be flat with the pipe shaped/sized arch cut in it. I've gotta make all sides very vertical or he will try to climb up. This morning, he was sitting in the entrance way looking out. Now he has a dog house, A HUGE flower pot and this burrow.

Now it's all done except for the landscaping. I used plywood and expanding foam for the front.

The basic parts. The pipe is a 20" corrugated plastic pipe elbow cut lengthwise to give a closed end. Corrugated pipe is very strong. I put soil and paving stones on top for looks only. The sides are flat so that there will be no climbing it.
