Hello! I'm new to this forum and also to having a sulcata...His name is Tino and he's 13 lb. Unfortunately hes been having some diarrhea for a couple weeks now. Some details...he lives outside during the day on one acre in south Texas with plenty of grasses and weeds. Since the diarrhea has started this is his diet 99% with the occasional mustard green with calcium powder. Now for the poop...sometimes its good; solid, grassy, brown, little smell, and typically man-sized. Occasionally, several times a week and in between the solids its totally watery, slimey, brown liquid. I mean liquid. No solid mass at all. Other times yet, its both. Like yesterday, liquid, then solid, then back to liquid all in the same poop session. He went to the vet for a fecal sample and it came back normal but the Dr said he noticed a significant amout of "rod-shaped bacteria" and wants to start him on antibiotics. I'm not comfortable with this diagnosis or his knowledge on sullys (he told me undigested grass in his poops was abnormal and a sign he wasnt digesting properly). Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks in advance!
