The only way I know to id them is by the number of radial stripes on their carapace scutes. Burmese typically have 6 stripes in the star pattern on each carapace scute; whereas, indian or sri lankan stars have more than that.

Im also not sure if age affects this pattern or not.

Post a pic of his carapace for a better id.

Looking like a female at this point. Still to young to be 100%.

Looks female. But still can go either way. 5-6" is more definite size to sex accurately.
