Can anyone help me identifying the sex of my G. Elegans...
What is its age ?
Size: 2 inches long & 1.5 inches wide.
1 more question:
Does anyone have size & shell pattern development information according to its age for G. Elegans ?
Thanks...

Yvonne is correct that the baby is too young to be sure. I'm going to make a guess at male, and that he's in his first year of life. Probably about 6 months.

Unless you already have a male, and you want to breed, then having a female just because of the size is the wrong reason to have a tort in my H,O. The tort should be admired for it's beauty, health and it's grace, not the size.

But that's just me, :D:D

Age would be 1-4 months, the photo shows very little growth. I would guess around 2-3. Sex is still to young to tell but based on the tail length more chance of male, females tend to have very short stubby tails as hatchlings. You can not compare growth at this age to determine sex. While males are smaller and females are larger that wont be useful for a few years!
